Me this morning after a "restful" nights sleep, hahaha
Today began with me thinking I would be "taking it easy" :) Hahahaha..
Zoe went in service with Doug and Peggy...hold on.. my day started earlier than that. Actually, with being awake half the night with the barking dogs, I'm not exactly sure when yesterday ended and today began :)

Officially tho, my alarm was set for 615 for Zoe to shower and be ready for Peggy by 750.. Which that was no problem. I sat twiddling my thumbs for a whole 20 minutes when my Panama phone rang, it was a local sister inviting the girls and I to go swimming in an hour.. Since Aliah and Asa actually slept thru all the outside noise I had to rouse them from a deeeep sleeeep. But once I did and they heard the word "swimming" they were upright in a matter of seconds! So we packed up a bag of "dry" clothes for afterwards, packed some snacks and waited for the friends to pick us up.

We drove to Bambito, which is just the next town North of Volcan so we were there in less than 20 mins. The place we went to had a pool and tennis courts and a nice playground. In the inside pool area was a sauna and a fitness gym (half the equiptment didn't work but that was no big deal because I did all my sweating in the sauna:). Some friends were already there with their children so the girls wasted no time in jumping in the pool. I couldn't stand the thought of swimming in chlorine when in the states I fight sooo hard to not touch chlorine. But I'm not so rigid as to not let the girls have a good time. They had a blast and really enjoyed swimming with Jade :) She is soooo precious!! Reminds me of a girl version of Valor, sooo witty.

After swimming I had the girls shower off there and they hang out in the sauna for about 10 mins or so. Then they changed into dry clothes and Andrea and Tom were in the mood for going to lunch so we attempted the Valley over the Moon. It was a really peaceful, eclectic-ish environment. And fortunately the owner/chef'/waitress didn't try to get all weird spiritistic on us but was informative. The restaurant is an organic one and also a health clinic or something like that. They were doing chelation on some people when we got there (totally awesome but $100 a visit and she said they have to do like 12, no thank you). The place was super upscale and a nice touch of what Americans are used too. Oh, while I was there I had fresh pressed raspberry juice, amazing!!

Then we headed home where I rotated laundry (hahaha that means hung wet clothes on a line on the back porch). I must say, it only sprinkled/misted today for a few minutes here in Volcan and has been clear since. It's now 430 and still no rain. Actually the sun is actually poking out from behind some clouds, yay!!

Here shortly we are going to walk to Jim and Gail's house, it's nearly a mile away but that's not bad, and their son Lawson and I and Zoe are going to make dinner for the others. (They've made 2 meals for us, it's only fair:) So I am going to roast some veggies (carrots, potatoes, beets, garlic, onion, etc..) and Lawson is going to make a veggie stir-fry, and Zoe is going to be our "go-to girl" :) Likely we will have Family Worship after dinner, then call it a night..

Are u girls ready to go swimming? Guess that's a YES

Eucalyptus trees I was told, they look like they've been oil painted (just gorgeous!)

when I took pics around our house, I found this beyond our bamboo fence!!
Someone's going to have some fried rooster soon :) -not me
