We headed out this evening to make dinner at the Murphy's but the moment we locked our front door I got a call from some friends inviting us over for a bonfire at 6. So we had like 30 minutes to slap together some pb&j sandwiches and I whipped up a salad for myself..then left for the friends house. There was about 18 of us that gathered there. The seemed the fire just started getting awesome once it was time for us to get home. The girls all needed a shower (after pool water earlier today and then campfire) and I need some rest, so we left about 830. It was sooo much fun tho!! The kids had a blast and they all played duck-duck-goose :) , lazer-ish tag (someone had one of those lazer lights like the red ones you make dogs chase..and yes it was just THAT histerical as watching a dog do chase it:).. hide-n-seek and chase... A few of them were teenagers:) which was great to see ones from 4 to 20 yrs playing together.

Oh, too, while we were there Gail noticed a huge toad circling our group and she couldn't resist the urge to pick it up! I asked Zoe to grab the camera to take a picture and she listened. However the toad jumped towards her, while still secure in Gail's hands, but that didn't slow down Zoe from running in the opposite direction and screaming like a banchee!! She is just too funny (and slightly embarassing) with her squeamishness (sp?). However I guess I can't say much, the toad eventually jumped under my chair..I didn't scream but I practically jumped out of my shoes while I retracted my legs into the chair. Aliah, my child who is in love with nature, ALL of it...the snakes, slugs, snails and yes, toads too, wanted to hold it. She did well, but Asa saw it as an opportunity to try to get a boyfriend :) hahaha She would die if she knew I was telling you that!!

That's all for tonight.. Tomorrow the immediate agenda is to walk to a local restaurante that serves breakfast for $1 a person. Can you believe that?!! Close to it is a place that I found serves fresh pressed juices for $.50 a glass, so I know what I'm doing in the morning :)
